While I promise to chronicle my journey through this wonderful path to freedom….I have two words that are both empowering and important.
Agreement & Order.
An agreement is a contract that both parties agree to. So all the stipulations are reviewed and both parties understand that this is the best and most manageable way to co-parent or visit or whatever is indicated in the divorce papers/custody papers.
An order is this agreement, only demanded by the Judge/Magistrate for the spouse to sign based on non-compliance with acknowledging said agreement in the time required.
Sometimes, I love New York.
